| | The global impacts of new and reemerging infectious disease outbreaks such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), avian influenza, Japanese encephalopathy, hemorrhagic fever, infections of West Nile virus, hantavirus, etc have posed new challenges in local public health and clinical sectors. New variants and resistant strains of infectious diseases have also emerged and complicate the local situations.

Assessment |

Assessment will be in the form of attendance, case studies and written examination. Participants who fulfill the assessment requirements will obtain the Certificate on Common Viral Infections. The requirements include a) over 80% attendance and (b) pass the exercises and the examination. |
